The Method

P.L.U.S. Dialogue

The conversation that follows the assessment.

‘Who am I?’ is a question most of us return to. We look for answers in psychological tests, in astrology, in blood types, and in conversations with friends. And yet, reading the results, we often find ourselves thinking: ‘This does sound like me—but at other times, I am someone rather different.’

Everyone has their preferences and leanings. We also believe that people are richly complex, and that who we are is fluid, shifting with the people and circumstances around us.

A personality assessment provides an objective lens through which to look at ourselves. Dialogue and reflection are what take that observation deeper.

The MSET gives us information about our behaviour, but we believe self-knowledge should not stop at a mere result. Through Pause, Listening, and Understanding, we explore the thinking, the experiences, and the beliefs beneath the surface. We have deliberately left the S undefined, because that part belongs to the insight of the moment. It might stand for Stopping, Starting, Service, Strengthening, Sharing—or something else entirely.

The self in the assessment is the self of the past. The self in the conversation is the self of the present. What you do after reflection is where the future becomes possible.

Through dialogue, we continue to explore, allowing awareness, growth, and change to unfold in their own time, and opening up possibilities that belong to us alone.

Pause

Pausing creates a valuable space between external stimuli and our internal responses, widening the gap so we can step out of automatic reaction modes and see new possibilities.

The moment you see your results, old assumptions and past experiences tend to surface. A pause gives you the room to read the report with curiosity rather than judgement.

Listening

The results of the report may align closely with your expectations, or they may surprise you in other areas. What matters most is learning to listen anew to your own internal voice, and nurturing a genuine curiosity about yourself.

As you read, are you truly listening to your own strengths and blind spots? Are you hearing what satisfies you, and what causes you worry?

Understanding

In personality assessments, it is crucial not merely to identify which ‘pattern’ you belong to, but to deeply understand your preferences, your strengths and challenges, and how you respond across different situations.

Can you see the patterns of response you have carried with you? The obstacles currently in front of you? The different facets you reveal in different settings?

S… whatever comes next

We haven’t assigned a specific definition to ‘S’, because we believe it represents your personal discovery. It could signify Sharing, Starting, Stopping, Smiling, Strengthening, or any other meaningful interpretation.

The report is not the destination, any more than simply knowing your pattern is. Each conversation is a step that carries you both forward.
